My Story

Riahs Tie Dye started in the summer of 2019. My daughter wanted a tie dye kit so we could tie dye as a family fun night. So we did! No idea what we were doing but we had so much fun! So, as you can guess, our shirts weren’t the best but we were very proud. There was some dye left so my daughter and I ran back to the store and got more shirts to use the dye up, This time, I did a little more research before starting. The shirts came out better. I couldn’t resist…I had to buy another kit!

After revealing a couple of shirts, my husband thought it would be a cool idea to do reveal videos for our friends and family to see on facebook. Then, I started getting special requests from our family and friends. Designs that I could not find anywhere! That is when I decided we needed to start a YouTube channel to help people learn special designs. I really wanted to share what I was sort of teaching myself with others so that they could get an idea of what they might want to do with their tie dyes.

Now, our YouTube channel is growing at a rapid pace a long with our Facebook page, Instagram, and Tic Tok. I want to share this art form with the world. Whether they are learning from my videos, or wearing a piece of my art, and even hanging something I made in their home. I would love to be a part of that.
